Itinerary

Day 1: Paris - Blois - Tours - Villandry - Amboise
We depart from Paris toward the center of the Loire Valley, a lively town dominated by its stunning castle, where we recommend a stroll through its charming center. After a brief stop for lunch in Tours, we continue to Villandry with included admission to its magnificent gardens, considered the most beautiful in France. We wrap up our day in the picturesque town of Amboise on the banks of the Loire Valley, where Leonardo da Vinci spent his last years. Dinner is included.
Day 2: Amboise - Chenonceaux - Chambord - Limoges
Today we explore the Loire Valley in greater depth, cruising along the scenic River Loire dotted with beautiful villages and castles. Enjoy free time around Château du Clos Lucé in Amboise before we head to Chenonceau to visit its splendidly well-preserved castle that spans the river like a bridge (tickets included). Afterward, we explore the massive park of Chambord Castle and stop for lunch, before traveling to the historic porcelain city of Limoges, where a stroll through the cathedral district is highly recommended.
Day 3: Limoges - Sarlat - Beynac-et-Cazenac - Rocamadour
We head into the beautiful Dordogne region to visit Lascaux, where museum and cave replica tickets are included to learn about prehistoric cave paintings. Next, we explore the exceptionally well-preserved medieval and Renaissance historic center of Sarlat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with time for lunch. We then stop at the cliffside village of Beynac to visit its magnificent castle overlooking the river (entrance included) before arriving at the stunning sanctuary town of Rocamadour for a stroll down the Via Crucis and an included dinner.
Day 4: Rocamadour - Padirac Cave - Collonges-la-Rouge - Saint-Émilion - Bordeaux
Our day begins with included tickets to the spectacular Padirac Chasm, featuring a boat ride along its underground river. We then visit Collonges-la-Rouge, a charming red-stone village on the Way of St. James, for lunch. In the afternoon, we explore the beautiful medieval village of Saint-Émilion, famous for its 2,000-year wine-producing history, before driving through sweeping vineyard landscapes to reach Bordeaux for our accommodation.
Day 5: Bordeaux - Paris
Enjoy free time exploring Bordeaux’s UNESCO World Heritage city center, its pedestrian streets, 11th-century cathedral, and the famous “Water Mirror.” Admission to the impressive, interactive Cité du Vin museum is included, complete with an English audio tour and a wine tasting at the panoramic viewpoint. Later, our guide provides your train tickets for a high-speed train ride back to Paris, taking just over two hours, followed by a transfer to your hotel.
Day 6: Paris
After breakfast, our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
