Day (1): Arrival – Amman

  • Your Jordan holidaybegins with your arrival to the Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA). A representative from Bebek travel tours will meet clients and assist them through visa procedures luggage identification, Transfer to Amman. Overnight at hotel.

Day (2): Amman – Amman City tour – Al Salt City tour – Amman

(History, Culture)

  • Morning after breakfast, departure to visit the ruins of the Amman Roman theatre,the Citadel and the Umayyad Palace, Free time in the old downtown
  • Proceed to the old town of Salt, which is situated 29 km north of Amman. Salt is one of Jordan’s longest continuously inhabited cities, it contains a remarkable architectural and civic heritage including many recently opened museums.

Day (3): Amman – Um Qais – Pella – Amman

(History, Religious)

  • Morning after breakfast, departure to Um Qais it was known as Gadara, Gadara was renowned in its time as a cultural centre. It was the home of several classical poets and philosophers, a hilltop site in the northwest corner of Jordan with grand views of the Golan Heights and Lake Tiberius (the Sea of Galilee).
  • transfer to visit Pella where you can see the remains of a Chalcolithic settlement the 4th millennium BC, Byzantine churches and houses and a small medieval mosque.

Day (4): Amman – Jerash – Anjara – Mar Elias Visit – Amman

(History, Religious)

  • Morning after breakfast, transfer to Jerash Roman City known as the city of the thousand columns, the ancient city of Jerash boasts an unbroken chain of human occupation dating back more than 6,500 years, The city’s golden age came under Roman rule and the site is now generally acknowledged to be one of the best-preserved Roman provincial towns in the world and one of the Decapolis cities once named Gerasa.
  • Anjara (Lady of The Mount Church) – Small town in the north-west of Jordan, the place where it is believed that Jesus Christ, his disciples, and the Virgin Mary, passed through in the hills of Gilead, and rested in a cave there during a journey between the Sea of Galilee, the Decapolis Cities, Bethany Beyond the Jordan and Jerusalem. Major highlight is a shrine built in 1950 by the Latin Catholic and became a station on the Pilgrimage great road.
  • Tall Mar Elias – A small natural hill, outside of Ajloun city, it is believed to be hometown and the birth place of Profit Elijah, an ancient site on the pilgrimage road. The major highlight: Mar Elias Monastery which is the place from which the Prophet Elijah ascended to heaven, a Basilica has one of the largest Byzantine churches in Jordan and with series of tombs beneath, and colorful mosaic floors

Day (5): Amman – Madaba – Mt.Nebo – Um Rassas – Petra

  • Morning after breakfast, start your day visiting Madaba (St. George Church & Mosaic Map) – The mosaic-filled city of Madaba is just 30 minutes south of Amman on the Kings Highway. The major highlight is the Greek Orthodox Basilica of St. George or the Church of the Map that portrays the old Holly Land with 2 Million pieces of mosaic, a huge well -preserved work of art comprises a map of the entire region of Jordan and Palestine in the north, to Egypt in the south. Madaba in present time is famous with its Mosaic Schools and hand-woven rugs.
  • Mount Nebo – Moses Mountain, situated 10 kilometers west of Madaba, overlooking the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, West Bank and Jerusalem, where believed the alleged sites of the tomb of Moses. The major highlight is the Byzantine Church built by the 4th century to memorial Prophet Moses death, and the spot where Moses view the “Land of Canaan” the Holy Land that he would not enter.
  • Um El Rassas – Kastron Mefaa (as in the Roman Era) or Mephaat (as mentioned in Holy Bible old & new testament), located 30 KM at the Kings’ Road south of Madaba, Umm Er-Rasas was inhabited since the Iron Age 700 BC, and became Roman Station Castle and a complex of Byzantine Rich inhabitation. Major highlights: St. Stephan Church Complex, The Monk-Tower Stylite, 16 Churches (i.e. Twins Churches, Lions Church, Bishops Church’s, Square-Tower Church), the churches’ Markets, The underground cistern.
  • Transfer to Petra for overnight.

Day (6): Petra – Petra Visit – Wadi Rum

  • Morning after Breakfast, start Petra visit – Known as the ‘Pink-Rose City’ or the “Lost City” is one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. a breathtaking guided walking tour today through the ruins of ancient Petra – the city that the Nabateans carved out of solid rock dating back to 300 BC! special moments to walk through a passage the Siq, which dramatically opens up to reveal the Treasury Building (Al-Khazneh). We will see also the Roman Theatre, Corinthian tomb, Palace of Pharos’s Daughter, the Carved Roman Theater and the Royal Courts, along with one of the oldest Cathedral of the Bishop high-chair. For those who can stand the strenuous climb, a path takes you up 1000 steps to the high place: an ancient Nabatean sacrificial site with an Altar cut from the rock.
  • Afternoon, transfer to Wadi Rum as known the valley of the moon , during a private 4×4 tour Marvel at the sunset and gaze at the stars in the night sky whilst enjoying the legendary hospitality of the Bedouin, before sleeping at the foot of the awesome mountains exploding out from the desert landscape.
  • Evening, Transfer to your desert camp of Wadi Rum for a Bedouin dinner and overnight.

Day (7): Wadi Rum – Baptism site – Dead Sea

  • Morning after breakfast, transfer to the Jordan valley to visit the Baptism site, Home to several biblical cities including Sodom, Gomorrah, and Zoar, the archaeological discoveries between the Jordan River and Tal al-Kharrar have identified this area as Biblical “Bethany Beyond the Jordan.” The area is where John was living when he baptized Jesus. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Baptism Site commission welcomes pilgrims from all around the world seeking spiritual connection to biblical times, a glimpse of history or a chance to be baptized where Jesus was so many years ago.
  • spend the day floating and relaxing at the Dead Sea floating on the salty water at one of the resort hotels. Enjoy the sunshine at the lowest point on earth, whilst trying out the invigorating mud bath to cleanse the skin. Watch the sunset over the hills of the West Bank with Jerusalem in the distance.
  • Over night at hotel.

Day (8): Dead Sea – Departure

  • Morning after breakfast , transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for departure.
