Day 1: Arrival in Amman
Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, our representative will meet and assist you through arrival procedures . Transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Amman . The rest of the day is free to relax after your flight . In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and overnight stay in Amman .
Day 2: Madaba – Mount Nebo – Machaerus – Dead Sea
After breakfast, begin your pilgrimage journey with a visit to Madaba, known for the famous 6th-century Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy Land at St. George’s Church . Continue to Mount Nebo, where Moses is believed to have viewed the Promised Land, with sweeping views over the Jordan Valley, Jericho, and the Dead Sea on clear days . Afterwards, visit Machaerus, also known as Mukawir, Herod’s hilltop fortress traditionally associated with the imprisonment and beheading of John the Baptist . Continue down to the Dead Sea, where you can float in the mineral-rich waters and enjoy the sunset . Overnight at the Dead Sea .
Day 3: Bethany Beyond the Jordan – Kerak – Little Petra – Petra
Morning after breakfast, visit Bethany Beyond the Jordan, also known as Al-Maghtas, the UNESCO-listed Baptism Site of Jesus Christ on the Jordan River . Continue along the King’s Highway to Kerak Castle, a massive Crusader fortress overlooking the surrounding valleys . Afterwards, visit Little Petra, also known as Siq Al-Barid, a smaller Nabataean site believed to have served as a suburb or caravan stop for Petra . Arrive in Petra in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight stay .
Day 4: Petra Full Day Visit – Amman Night Walk
After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring Petra, the legendary Rose-Red City and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World . Walk through the dramatic Siq canyon to reach the iconic Treasury, then continue to discover the Street of Facades, Royal Tombs, Roman-style Theatre, and other remarkable Nabataean monuments . Guests seeking more adventure may take the optional hike to the Monastery . In the afternoon or evening, drive back to Amman . Upon arrival, enjoy an evening walk through downtown Amman, Rainbow Street, the stairs of Jabal Amman, the illuminated Roman Theatre, and the lively old souks at night . Overnight in Amman .
Day 5: Jerash – Ajloun – Anjara – Tal Mar Elias – Amman
After breakfast, travel north to Jerash, one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman provincial cities in the world, featuring the Oval Plaza, Cardo Maximus, temples, theatres, and Hippodrome . Continue to Ajloun Castle, the impressive 12th-century Ayyubid fortress built by a general of Saladin . Afterwards, visit Anjara and the Church of Our Lady of the Mountain, a Marian shrine traditionally linked to a resting place of Jesus and the Virgin Mary during their travels in the region . Continue to Tal Mar Elias, also known as Elijah’s Hill or Tishbe, the traditional birthplace of the Prophet Elijah, with remains of a Byzantine church on the hilltop . Return to Amman for overnight stay .
Day 6: Amman – Departure
Morning after breakfast, enjoy free time depending on your flight schedule, with the possibility of last-minute shopping or an optional visit to the Amman Citadel if not visited earlier . Afterwards, transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for your departure flight, leaving with meaningful memories of Jordan’s sacred biblical and Christian heritage sites .
