Day 1: Arrival in Amman
Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, our representative will meet and assist you through arrival procedures . Transfer by private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Amman for check-in and rest . In the evening, visit the King Abdullah I Mosque, known for its striking blue mosaic dome, along with the adjacent Islamic Museum . Afterwards, enjoy a welcome dinner in downtown Amman . Overnight in Amman .
Day 2: Amman Citadel & Desert Castles
After breakfast, begin your Islamic heritage journey with a visit to the Amman Citadel, including the Umayyad Palace complex, one of the city’s most important early Islamic landmarks . Continue east to explore Jordan’s famous Desert Castles, beginning with Qusayr Amra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and 8th-century Umayyad hunting lodge renowned for its historic frescoes . Continue to Qasr Kharana and Qasr Azraq, an Umayyad-era desert fort later associated with T.E. Lawrence . Return to Amman for overnight stay .
Day 3: Ajloun Castle – Jerash – Amman
Morning after breakfast, travel north to Ajloun Castle, also known as Qalat ar-Rabad, built in the 12th century by a general of Salah ad-Din to protect the region and control strategic routes . Continue to Jerash, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the region, where Roman ruins stand alongside evidence of important Islamic-era settlement . In the evening, return to Amman and enjoy free time for shopping in the traditional downtown souks . Overnight in Amman .
Day 4: Mu'tah – Mazar – Kerak – Petra
After breakfast, drive south toward Mu’tah and Mazar to visit the shrines honoring three companions of the Prophet Muhammad: Ja’far ibn Abi Talib, Zayd ibn Harithah, and Abdullah ibn Rawahah, who fell during the Battle of Mu’tah in 629 CE . Continue to Kerak to visit the old town and its historic castle, strategically located along the King’s Highway . Afterwards, continue south to Petra, arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight stay .
Day 5: Petra & Jabal Haroun
After breakfast, explore Petra Archaeological Park, the legendary Rose-Red City and one of Jordan’s most remarkable historical treasures . Walk through the dramatic Siq to reach the iconic Treasury, then continue to discover the ancient Nabataean monuments, tombs, and rock-carved structures . For interested travelers, a full-day guided hike or mule ride can be arranged to Jabal Haroun, also known as Mount Hor, venerated as the traditional burial place of the Prophet Aaron . Dinner and overnight in Petra .
Day 6: Petra – Cave of the Seven Sleepers – Prophet Shuaib's Tomb – Amman
Enjoy a final morning at leisure in Petra before driving back toward Amman . Stop at the Cave of the Seven Sleepers, also known as Ahl Al-Kahf or Al-Raqim, at Al-Rajib, revered in Islamic tradition as the resting place of the sleepers mentioned in Surah Al-Kahf . Continue to the Prophet Shuaib’s Tomb near Wadi Shuaib, close to Salt, another important site in Islamic tradition . Arrive in Amman in the evening for overnight stay .
Day 7: Amman – Departure
Morning after breakfast, enjoy free time at leisure depending on your flight schedule . Afterwards, transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for your departure flight, leaving with meaningful memories of Jordan’s Islamic heritage, sacred sites, desert castles, and historical landmarks .
